Miracles at CHAGFed like Elijah!My husband passed away 2 years ago and ever since we have been struggling to make ends meet. Then we came to City Harvest AG Church and God helped us in many ways. The church was always supportive to us and finally my daughter got a good job. My daughter’s job was the only means to support our family. Because of the financial recession, she lost her lob and for the past 2 months (Jan & Feb) we were without income. Let me tell you the Lord of Elijah has been our God. He provided all our needs and never let our provisions go dry. Many times there would be nothing to cook but miraculously God would send someone with provisions and give us food. Now, my daughter has got a new job and I thank God for the way he led our family in the time of crisis.
Miracle BirthI was pregnant with our second child. We went for routine checkups and everything was normal. In the 34th week, one day I felt no movement of the baby. By evening we rushed to the hospital. When the doctors tested they could not detect the heart rate and said the baby is no more and my life too was in danger. We prayed to God and the church prayed earnestly for our condition. The doctors proceeded for a caesarean and the operation lasted for almost 6 hours as there were several complications. Miraculously, God gifted us a beautiful and healthy son. Thank God for his miracle. He has indeed power over death and life!
Miracle without surgeryMy wife had been suffering with severe abdominal pain for over 2 months. Finally we took her to the hospital and they diagnosed her with multiple stones in the kidney which needed immediate surgery. The surgery was finalized and on the way to the hospital we passed through church and got my wife prayed for. A routine checkup before the surgery was conducted and the doctors were amazed that there were no stones in her kidney. We thank God for the divine healing.
Healed varicose veins.I had been suffering with varicose veins for a long time because of which I suffered from severe pain in the legs. I had difficulty in walking and climbing stairs. One day I shared my need in the Womens’ Fellowship at City Harvest and the sisters prayed for me in unison. Miraculously I was healed completely and it is more than 6 months now, I have never had the problem again. I thank the sisters for praying for me. All glory to God for the healing.
Healed from DengueI was diagnosed with dengue. I had high fever, headache, body pain and shivering. I called Pastor Shine and he prayed for me. Many brothers and sisters also came to my house and sent their regards to me. I was very touched by their warmth and the way God showed his love. I learned to be still and know that He is the healing God. My platelet count started dropping and came to 71. The doctor asked me to get admitted. I did not want to get admitted. Interestingly, on that day, all the beds were full. Therefore, I went back home and took rest. Subsequently, I received an email from my church in Hong Kong, telling me that my cell group members were fasting and praying for me. I was so touched and felt the grace and comfort from God. So, on the next day, I went to hospital again and expected to get admitted. Surprisingly, when I took the blood test, my platelet count was found to be 101. The doctor said that no admission was required! Hallelujah! I was so amazed to experience the healing hand of God in my life! Thank you CHAG for all your prayers. All the Glory be to our Lord! Bless Yu An awesome work of His hands!Ps 66:5 Come and see what God has done, He is awesome in His doing towards the sons of men. I have seen His awesome work time and again in my life, but there’s one incident I would like to share. I lost my passport sometime in 2005 and gave up all hopes of finding it. Meanwhile, I lost my husband and my eldest son went to UK to pursue a Master’s degree. He graduated in Dec ’09 and in Jan ’10 we had a week of fasting & prayer. It was indeed a blessed time and the Lord sprung a surprise on me. During the fast, my sister-in-law called and informed me that she had found my passport in a friend’s house. What amazes me is the way the Lord safeguarded it all these years! This friend of my sister-in-law had rented out a portion of his house to someone who was running a canteen there. When the tenant vacated the house, my sister-in-law’s friend opened the drawer of a desk that was kept in the rented portion of the house. He was surprised to see my passport. He quickly called my sister-in-law and she promptly went & collected it for me. The Lord brought me this blessed piece of news on my birthday, what timing and how amazing is His work! Needless to say the passport makes it easier for me to travel abroad according to the wonderful plans the Master has for me and my family.
Shackles brokenI have been regularly falling sick for years which in turn affected my studies. I have taken many treatments but to no avail. Once my studies were over I tried for job for over 1-1/2 years but due to various reasons I never was able to keep a permanent job. We knew it was a spiritual problem. We as a family came for the 7-day fasting prayer at CHAG and the church prayed earnestly for us. Miraculously God gave me a job and my sickness has never come back to me. Thank God for the healing and the new job God has given to me.
Delivered from fever and low blood-platelet countI was brought up in a Christian family by God fearing parents. God was good to me in my life and everything was going very normal until July 2009. I felt sick in my body and started developing high fever and severe body pain. We went to many hospitals in Bangalore but my fever was not subsiding. It had already been 2 weeks of fever. The doctors asked for a blood test which was inconclusive. Then the doctors advised hospital admission as I was getting weaker and the fever never came down. I could not eat anything. The cause of my fever was unknown. I felt no strength in my body. I felt there was no hope for me. Further blood tests proved my blood platelet count had been very low which the doctors said was a fateful condition. The doctors asked me to transfuse blood as the platelet count had reached below the normal range and my survival was very risky. We as a family called the pastor from City Harvest AG for prayer. Pastor came and prayed. My family was fasting and praying too. Miraculously, the very next day my platelet count returned to normal without transfusion. My fever subsided and strength came back to my body. I believe my God healed me. Thank you for all your prayers.
Freed from demonic attack!I never used to get sleep at night. I could literally see a demon holding a sword over me trying to take my life off. It became so severe that I was literally scared of the night. For almost 2 weeks I was awake at night and took small naps during the day. I went to many places seeking relief but did not find any, and every night I was tormented by this demon. My old mother would stay awake through the night and sit guard with me. One day, the pastor from CHAG came to my house and prayed for me. He told me his God is a living God and he can give him calm sleep at night. Miraculously that night I slept very peacefully and thereafter the demon has never come near me. I thank God for rescuing me from those terrible nights.
Supernatural De-addictionI had been a chronic alcoholic for 30 years. My wife had been going to CHAG and the church prayed for me for years. I was restless and without peace. I was envious of people who were happy. I felt my wife used to enjoy God’s presence at church and I wanted to stop her from church. I threatened the pastor of dire circumstances. I called him again and again for almost 20 days threatening his life. One day I threatened the pastor that I would interrupt the Sunday Service that week and would not let the pastor enter the church. The very next day early in the morning the pastor called me and said he wanted to meet me. I was speechless. This was a man who I wanted to destroy and the one who kept his mobile off because of my threats calling me and asking me to meet him. The talk I had with the pastor changed my life. He counseled me and prayed for me. I decided not to take drinks anymore. Now it is 3 months and I have been sober. Now I drive my wife to CHAG and we are happy to be a part of the church.
United without DivorceI have been married for the past 1 year and there were severe problems in my married life. Everyday I used to be scared to spend time with my husband as it would end up in a big fight. I faced pressure at my work place too because of my disturbed family life. I was contemplating divorce. I shared our problems to the pastor and the intercessory team at CHAG. They earnestly prayed for me and my husband. Miraculously I could see God working in our family. My husband started changing himself and I could see myself changing to adjust together as a family. Now we have peace and God is blessing our family life. Thank you for all your prayer support.
College admissionMy studies had come to a standstill because of the sudden demise of my father after which I took up to work to provide for our family. I had always wanted to complete my graduation and for the last 2 years I had to discontinue my studies. This year I enquired for admission in almost all the colleges in Bangalore but could not afford to admit myself because the fee was too high for us to bear. We prayed and finally God opened a new door for me to study the course of my choice with a very small fee as we got admission in a government college. I thank God for honouring my desire to study and for the miracle admission.
Healed from CancerI am from a very orthodox nonchristian background and my friend shared the gospel to me. My father was suffering from cancer and the tests showed the cancer had spread to all parts of his body and it was tough for him to survive. My friend introduced me to CHAG and I was very encouraged by the sermons and my faith soared high. Everyday I would close my door and cry and pray to God for a miraculous healing for my father. Recently we took our father for a diagnostic test and miraculously my father is healed of his cancer. I really thank God for this great, great miracle.
God – The Great Heart Surgeon I had severe chest pain early one morning. I thought it was gastric-related and proceeded to attend to my business. As time passed by, my pain became unbearable and by evening I went by myself to the nearest heart hospital on the advice of a physician. The doctors who examined me confirmed I had a heart attack the very morning, and it was a miracle that I was alive, having attended my business and riding almost the whole day in ignorance. They conducted tests on me and said that all the 4 blood vessels coming to my heart were blocked somewhere between 75% to 90% and that I needed immediate surgery. They gave me one month for survival without surgery. I called the pastor and believers and they came home and prayed. As per schedule I went for a test in December and the report was absolutely negative. All the blocks in my heart vessels were absolutely clear and my heart is fully normal. I thank God for this miraculous healing. Thanks CHAG for praying for me. God – The one who blessesI am basically from a Hindu background and I used to consume a lot of alcohol. We went through the depths of debt and there was no way of hope for our family. My sister one day shared the gospel to me and I felt I must go to church. One evening as I was returning from work I saw the CHAG board and I felt something speaking to me to attend this church. First I came alone, I was touched by the spirit filled worship and message. The next week I brought my family and asked pastor to pray for us. I quit drinking. We decided to follow Jesus as a family and in 2 months’ time took water baptism. Today we are very blessed. We have no more debts, God gave me a promotion in my job, our relatives and neighbours respect us like never before. God gave us a new house and he has done many, many things in our life. We thank God for his great love towards us. Really after coming to CHAG our life has been different in the Lord! Delivered from evil spiritI never used to get sleep at night. I felt as if someone was coming and choking me and walking around the house. My husband and children never had any problem but I could not sleep. For months I struggled with this problem and went to many places for relief. Finally my relative brought me to CHAG. I was possessed with an evil spirit and pastor prayed for me and casted it out in Jesus name. Ever since I am able to sleep fine without any problem. Now my family and me believe in Jesus and are the members of CHAG. I thank God for the deliverance. Boy comes home after five daysMy son Hemant Kumar, age 15 had gone to school one Thursday. That evening he did not return home at the usual time. It became late in the evening and we were worried about adverse circumstances. The next 2 days passed and after searching all over we could not locate our son. Then it was Sunday morning and we decided to go to CHAG. I told my problem to the church and the church earnestly prayed. The pastor affirmed in the Holy Spirit that the child is safe and will return. We ran home after the service to look for our son but he had not come. Now it was 4 days and we had no clue about him. We had not properly slept or eaten for the past 4 days because of the pain of his loss. Monday morning was his 15th birthday and we could not take his loss any longer. We lost all hope thinking we would not be able to see our son anymore. I called the pastor and asked him to pray for my son. The pastor confirmed again that the child will return. Miraculously after about an hour my son returned home and now we have decided to follow Jesus. Thanks church for your valuable prayers. I just feel at home at BangaloreIt is a great privilege to be associated with City Harvest AG Church. I have been in Bangalore for the past 8 years, and during this time, my soul was hungry for a proper place of worship. I went helter-skelter to find one. Eventually, I did meet Pr. Paul as we both worked together in the same organization and that is the time when I was invited to visit CHAG. At first I was quite reluctant to attend because of the fact I was not used to the worship that they have out here in Bangalore, but then Pr. Shine had visited my house and invited me. Before he could leave my house he prayed and when he prayed I knew that CHAG was the church for me. It has been nearly one year and I have been so blessed to be a part of this spirit-filled church. I do not feel homesick anymore because I have people around me who have replaced the people I was attached with worship at the Buntain Memorial Assemblies of God, Kolkata. God Healed my ChildOur daughter was suffering from high fever and swelling at the back of her head (behind her ear) for some time because of which she had severe pain and we used to spend sleepless nights taking care of her. Doctors said the fever was because of the swelling and asked us to take an x-ray. The same evening pastor visited our house and prayed for my daughter. He said God will heal and do a miracle for my daughter. Yes, indeed God has done a great miracle! The x-ray suggested there was no problem and all the swelling, pain, and fever went away. Not only this, in the past months God has done great and marvellous things in our family. I thank God Almighty and Pastor. Shine for his care and concern for us. |
